  • Protect the health and safety of our employees, contractors and customers
  • Preserve and safeguard the environment
  • Minimise the risk to people, plant, and local communities that may be adversely affected by our operations.

"We shall continuously strive to maximise the efficiency of our environmental protection measures and practices, minimise and, where practical, prevent incidents, occupational illnesses, as well as environmental impacts, through the active participation of every employee and contractor". 

In accordance with this commitment, we shall strive to:

  1. Comply with or exceed all applicable environmental, health and safety (EHS) laws and regulations.
  2. Make EHS considerations an integral part of our business planning, and equally  important to key operational, business and strategic objectives.  
  3. Hold employees and contractors responsible for their EHS-related performance, and accountable for the performance of all personnel under their supervision.
  4. Ensure that all employees and contractors are trained on an ongoing basis with respect to EHS hazards, programmes, rules and practices, as well as fostering employee involvement in improving EHS performance.  
  5. Design, build, operate and maintain a safe working environment using proven
    technology whilst maintaining economic competitiveness.  
  6. Establish realistic and measurable EHS goals and objectives.
  7. Openly and constructively report EHS performance.
  8. Develop and maintain risk-based emergency response systems and
    facilities as necessary to control and mitigate the effects of any incident
    that may occur. 
  9. Establish good relations with communities by entering into
    dialogue with regulators, local authorities and members of the
    public, and by reasonably addressing their concerns.
  10. Manufacture and market products which comply with local
    guidelines and international regulations, that are safe and
    effective for their intended use. 
  11. Periodically audit EHS systems at the ENOC Group of Companies
    to check for compliance with applicable, approved policies and
    procedures.
  12. Update this policy as needed, with a maximum review period of
    two years.
